Financial Aid and FAFSA
SCHOLARSHIPS
Whether a student is interested in a 2 or 4 year college, a trade school, or military, our Financial Aid sections provide helpful financial support opportunities.
Senior scholarships are posted in Schoolinks which is a college and career readiness program to help students in our district to get involved in the planning and advising process, research colleges and careers, and plan for the future. Schoolinks allows us to share information with students about upcoming meetings and events, local scholarship opportunities, and other resources for college and career information.
To sign on to Schoolinks:
- On your device, go to Classlink https://launchpad.classlink.com/midlothian.
- Choose the Schoolinks icon.
- Click on college then scholarship match.
You will notice there are “National” and “Local” scholarships. Many local scholarships are specific to our Midlothian/Metroplex area.
Please follow all the directions for each scholarship completely.
FREE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL STUDENT AID (FAFSA)
Students must complete a FAFSA application to be considered for most scholarships and university financial assistance. It is recommended that all seniors complete the FAFSA application even if you feel you may not qualify for funds because colleges/universities want to know your Estimated Family Contribution in order to be able to offer you their scholarships.
APPLICATION OPENS: October 1st (2026 Seniors will use 2024 tax filing information.)
- First, an FSA ID must be set up for the student AND one parent/guardian.
- Then, you can fill out the FAFSA.
